Nico Bouloc - Ranch Tashunka
Nico is iconic in the western world.
Trained in the United States alongside the greatest, a former stuntman on horseback, Nico created the Tashunka Ranch (Haute-Vienne) in the 2000s and has since expressed himself at the highest level in all the disciplines of Versatility Ranch Work: reining, cutting, roping, work cow...
Nico is the initiator of the Ranch Academy, convinced that the meeting of professionals who get along can overcome the cleavage, the sometimes critical and polemical spirit which characterizes the world of horses.
Didier Dubrui - DD Ranch Work
Didier began his career as a cowboy in Arizona before settling in Bretagne as a trainer and breeder (horses and herdfords) on a ranch of more than 90 ha.
Through partnership, he maintains a strong link with Arizona by sending young cowboys in apprenticeship to a friendly ranch.
He participated in the creation and development of the AVET (bovine restraints in the Poitevin marshes) and trains CRPP riders in the gathering and lowering of herds in the mountain pastures.
horse men
In the opinion of our coaches, the terms "Horsemanship" or ethology have too often been used for strictly commercial purposes to characterize the educational methods of the Ranch Academy.
However, these are actually based on the behavioral analysis of the horse based on one requirement: let's learn the horse before learning to ride.
We are therefore followers of gentle methods, work on foot, a respectful approach based on trust and human-horse collaboration, without however lacking the necessary authority.
educators
When the mount is ready, it remains to train its rider.
The Ranch Academy brings together recognized professionals in western riding training.
Whether you are an amateur or a competitor, for your initiation, improvement or training, whether you are looking for private lessons or group sessions, our coaches will be able to satisfy your objectives if, like them, you place the horse at the center of your interest.
